Mapshare not working properly

Mapshare only working intermittently.

Maybe there's a setting that I am missing but mapshare appears and disappears with no changes from myyy side

  • I have the same problems. I have been using two MapShare accounts for three weeks. During these three weeks I have been testing the InReach functionality and I am very disappointed with the MapShare website.

    Sometimes I get a Cloudflare error when I call it up.

    Sometimes the MapShare website loads and displays a map, but the circle in the left track selection area takes forever to load.

    Sometimes the available tracks are displayed on the left, but nothing appears on the map.

    Sometimes, however, everything works.

    From Germany, MapShare hardly works at all, at least one of the problems mentioned occurs. On a short vacation in Spain, however, the MapShare website worked normally in 9 out of 10 cases.

    The explore website still says all services green at the same moment I see nothing works.

  • The same for me.when I contacted Garmin they finally admitted they had had a problem but that it was fixed. Obviously not. Keen enough to take your money though.

  • @Garmin-Chris: have already reported the issues (that I see/have) to someone from iR-team in Yarmouth and linked to the threads about it.

  • Support contacted me and asked for some information, and a day later they told me that the error had been fixed. My tests have confirmed this, everything is now working as it should.

  • We saw this again, yesterday. During a flight Luxembourg - Houston the map was only showing the tracking until passing Ireland and only kicked in several hours later near the US coast. Have reported this direct to Garmin iR staff in Yarmouth, So there is still an issue and it is not fixed!  The tracking was sent to several persons and all had the issue! Unreliable/ not trustable!
