I've owned Garmin GPSMap receivers since the 60Csx, but I have never encountered such an immense volume of bugs, missing features, and issues as I have after purchasing the H1 (assuming "H1" is the new model, e.g., "GPSMap 67").
It started with problems like the missing Barometer app (which was only added later), followed by the non-functional Livetrack, the receiver resetting itself after a specific sequence of actions, illogical over-simplification of the menu structure, and lower accuracy than I had on my 67 (3 meters vs 1.6 meters), just to name a few.
What happened to the "Climb Planning" feature that Garmin initially advertised, and then later silently removed from their website?
I am currently considering filing a warranty claim due to non-compliance with the specification.
For now, I must warn potential buyers: DO NOT PURCHASE YET. Wait and see if Garmin manages to fix the software. If you've owned previous generations, you will be severely disappointed with the current version.
