Waypoint Loading Problem!

When copying GPX files with tracks to the New Files folder, they are imported upon device startup, and we find the tracks among the "Saved" items.
But this doesn't work with waypoints! If I load a GPX file with waypoints, the New Files folder gets emptied at device startup, but the waypoints are not displayed either in the "Saved" list or on the map.
Is this a bug?

    This is just a workaround until Garmin fix it.

    Well, if U ask me, everytnig placed in the New Files folder should be imported as the new collection, tracks and waypoints

    GPX file is deleted.

    That is OKafter importing it should be deleted...

  • I can confirm that indeed, placing Waypoint GPX and/or Track GPX files in the GARMIN/NewFiles folder will load them and they will all show up in the SAVED area.  BUT, it has to be on the INTERNAL memory card.  NewFiles, Courses, and Locations on an EXTERNAL SD Card are not recognized or used or imported or whatever -- completely ignored from what I can see.

    I'm currently only using internal memory and for me importing is extremely buggy, sometimes nothing happens, sometimes I get all waypoints on the map but not in the save data, sometimes I manged to import them properly quite confusing situation. Using H1+, latest firmware...
