I ask again... g3 only or g3 Vision for GPSMap 86i? + app to show the purchased g3 map on phone?

Haha it shocking you just close the topic instead of replying? Its highly disrespectful for someone who just purchased these 2 items and need an answer sooner than 3 days it takes to get a reply via your email.......

If you KNOW the answer, why not help and then close it? Obviously you work for Garmin as product support and can easily help instead of just neglecting. Wow what a horrible first experience with Garmins support.

Its simple questions for you?

  • Does the 86i device support g3 Vision or only g3? --- Yes or no?

    If I understood the following correct, https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=xRlMwaRfg8182UzTFp3nY5&identifier=662559&tab=topics , it is supported. But I also read a comment from a gps reviewer saying g3 vision is NOT possible with the handheld GPSMAP 86i, only g3.

    Which one is it?

  • If I purchase a g3 or g3 vision map for my GPSMap 86i device, and would like to view the same map and control it on my touchphone ... Is there an app for that that sync them together in that way?

    IF yes, which one?
    IF no, ok then... moving on...

    WELL THEN MAKE ONE!!! Why dont you want people in the Garmin community to discuss and help each other answering questions? Thats just crazy.. Its your brand, your product, which been released now for a few years and you dont care about making it easier for customers to discuss it. Instead close it with the reason "nope, not the correct forum"... Gahh you really should be ashamed for that one.

    Is thre a good reason why you are not creating a subforum for gpsmap 86? Is there many issues with the product and shall instead return the 2 devices?
