66i stuck on GARMIN screen

Hi

Hope someone can assist.

My 66i reboots and get stuck on the GARMIN screen.

I tried rebooting, resettings with keeping the PAGE & ENTER in while,powering up, but still no go...

Any advice pls?

When you do the reset, does the device respond as described in this thread?

If not, it’s not reset. Try again.

if so, you should call tech support.

Thx does not work for me...

My contents on the USB drive when plugged into Windows is empty.
Can someone maybe copy theirs and a8 can download it, maybe that will help as a last resort.

Many of the file found on the GPSr are written by the GPSr each time it boots.

If you are not seeing any files or folders on your GPSr when connected via USB, the internal memory has likely become corrupted, and copying file/folders from another unit will not be of any help.

Not to mention the fact that some of the files are specific to the unit. Call tech support.

Ensure the handheld is powered off.
Press and hold Page and Enter simultaneously.
Power on the GPS while continuing to press both buttons.
Release the Power button when Garmin appears on the screen.
Release the other buttons once the Do you really want to erase all user data? message appears.
Select Yes.
