Shot tracking

I love the shot tracking feature on the s70.

however, there is one big issue.

whenever you hit a shot onto or around the green, and you get close to the green, the display switches to the green view, and the distance counter for your ongoing shot disappears and is exchanged by a distance counter to the pin.

is there any way of disabling the automatic green view or disable the pin distance tracker. I would like to be able to see at what distance my shots that land on and around the green end up as well as those in the fairway

  • When the zoomed in view of the green appears, the single distance value appears to offer one distance to the middle of the green or to where the flag was manually moved by the user. This is opposed to offering the front, middle and back distance views since the threshold of the green offering the front and back distances is no longer relevant since the user may be chipping on from the side or back of the green.

The AutoShot feature on the watch is only designed to detect full swing shots, and the chip shots or putts are not designed to be tracked due to the lesser impact of the clubface hitting the ball. While the watch may detect a shorter swing, it is not designed to track from around or on the green. The CT-10 sensors allow for putts and chips to be tracked with the distances on the shot when reviewing after the round.

Since the CT-10 sensors are required to allow for putts and chips to be tracked, the shot distance stops tracking when on the green to stop the shot tracking since the watch on it's own cannot detect putts or chips from there on.
