Is the capability to upload scores to USGA/GHIN available or is it in the works?

Is the capability to upload scores to USGA/GHIN available or is it in the works?  Automatic uploads of our scores to Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN) from Garmin would be very useful and many of your competitors are already providing this capability.  Is there any update on this yet??

  • Please note: If the feature becomes available, it will be announced as it becomes available. We do not disclose changelogs before updates are released for products or applications.

  • Integration with GHIN should be an absolute no brainer of a feature to add.  Please make this happen, your customers in the USA will be absolutely delighted!

  • What is the status for this request? With the release of the new Approach watches, and the paywall in place for advanced features, will Garmin be adding the GHIN functionality?

  • I do not even use the watch. It is not worth the pain to have to double up logging shots in GHIN. My boys got it for me as a bday present 9 months ago. I used it twice and have not since. This needs to get resolved and it is ridiculous for a golf watch like this  not to sync with a major handicap tracker like GHIN. Major flaw in development.

  • This is just a major development flaw. I used the watch twice. My boys got it for my bday a long time ago. I have not used in since. It is to much of a pain to have to double enter scores into GHIN.  Very disappointed. I cannot believe after this much time it still has not been resolved?

  • This is also something I would gladly pay for a monthly subscription on. While I love everything else about the watch I've unfortunately had to go back to using the Grint and actively started discouraging fellow golfers against getting Garmin golf watches due to this lack of functionality.

I keep following this thread and checking back every few months hoping that garmin will have actually listened, but it's been over a year at this point, so I'm not super hopeful

  • I agree been waiting on this feature for over a year and Garmin still has not implemented it.  I love everything about the watch except for having to enter my GHIN score after a round. Unlike you, I would rather switch to another service than pay a subscription for this feature.  Like you, I have been vocal with anyone I know who is looking at the Garmin watches and point this out to them. All of my golf friends who have Apple watches won't switch to Garmin because of the lack of this feature.

To get more visibility, I have also made sure to comment on product reviews and on any articles praising the new Garmin golf watches to make sure people are aware of this missing feature.  I would suggest others do the same.

  • The most annoying thing about this thread?

The absolute lack of Garmin indicating that this is even on a roadmap somewhere. Love the watches and all the tooling offered around them, but the lack of external integrations, ESPECIALLY with GHIN, is just simply ridiculous.

My current watch will be my first and last Garmin watch if this feature isn't added.
