Had my s62 a while, in the beginning it tracked the shots perfectly.
Now it hardly ever asks for the club I used and when it does its too late I have already moved on.

We can try a reset of the watch. Please perform a sync prior to doing the below steps.
Press MENU button > Settings > Reset > Reset Default Settings

I should have said. I have tried a full reset, also tried reinstalling the app. All the settings are as they should be. I wear may watches on my right arm so I also have this set on the watch.

No I didn't, I have never heard of garmin express.

Software updates are released a couple times a year to resolve bugs or issues with the watch, or to prevent issues from arising.
