Watch not tracking shots or asking which club was used

My watch use to track shots and ask me which club I used. It no longer does that. It worked for about 15 rounds but has now stopped tracking. Is it a defect ? When I played yesterday it tracked one shot all round. It happens when I start on the first tee or when I start somewhere else on the course

    Please make sure the watch is up to date with Garmin Express. In similar instances, resetting the watch resolves the issue. 

    Press MENU button > Select Settings > System > Reset > Reset Default Settings

  • I have the app on my I phone. I do not have express. Or is it the same thing?  My watch says the systems are updated

    Garmin Express requires the watch be connected to a computer. If you click on the link my previous reply, it will take you to the support article that provides step by step instructions for updating your device.

    If you are up to date, please perform the reset steps above and use the watch again. Feel free to report back if the issue persists after the above suggested troubleshooting steps are performed. 

  • I have reset it twice. Setup error is the message. Now it’s stuck
