I'm on my third full set of CT10 sensors and each set has acted the same as the first. All 14 sensors will pair with my S62 on initial set up. All 14 sensors connect as intended for the first couple rounds of golf. Then they start to drop like flies, one or two more drop out on a round, then one or two more on the next round, etc. Then I return the set to Amazon and start this whole process over again.
Most of the failed sensors aren't being detected by the S62, but a few of them get detected then hang on the "Pairing Sensor" screen and never actually get paired to my watch.
I've replaced batteries, no change in behavior. I've checked each new sensor's status and all the batteries are listed as "New."
I've been thinking it's the CT10s fault, but there's no way there's a nearly 50% failure rate on a $300 product, right? I've tried changing batteries, soft reset of watch, hard reset of watch, disconnect and reconnect sensors, shine a flash light on the CT10 to wake them up thinking ambient light was too low several times and nothing works. Once a sensor is dead I can't get it back.
Are 50% of CT10 sensors defective? Am I just really really unlucky? Or, is the problem not with the CT10s but with my S62 watch? I have no idea how to figure that out or how to fix it.
Any ideas? Thanks!
