Map detailed scorecard on Garmin golf app not working

Garmin S62 sometimes not showing detail score card in the Garmin golf app so you can’t see the shots and clubs on the map, I just get the main score card screen. So far about 50% of the rounds not showing the detail map. Any help would be appreciated before I move on to Apple Watch. Thanks

  • My text size (was) a bit bigger than normal. I returned back the text size, and it did not solve the issue.
    It seems illogical : why text size modification could affect the presence of a full section of information, and why only for some courses ? 
    The issue exists for me for already several answers, and it concerns the golf courses I play very frequently. Nobody seems to work on it, despite of a ticket created. It is ennoying. Should I move to another watch brand because of this issue ? It would be putty and costly. 
    Please Garmin guys find a solution or at least confirm that the issue is under your supervision and solving.

  • I am having the same problem with my Forerunner 955. My 935 uploaded the shot map to the Garmin Golf app without issue. My new 955 uploads the score only but not the shot map. I tried communicating with someone at Garmin through your chat function but was ignored. I can only think it must be an issue with the set up on my 955 but I am not able to figure it out. Please help!

    The issue has been reported some months ago, Many users confirmed the redundancy of the issue.
    I was in contact with @Garmin-Cody, who created a ticket. He recommended to get in touch with the French Garmin office what I did. No answer. I wrote them, I called them, the answer : you have to wait.
    It is hard to believe that by current times the issue like that may take so much time to be resolved. And especially that the manufacturer does not even confirm that the issue in being considered. I tend to think that our complains are just ignored, despite of our efforts.
    Now I have 3 golf courses I play rather often the shots are not displayed on under the scorecard in the app. This is annoying. The watch is great but it not really useful if impossible to review the shots in a smart manner...
    And this is not the single issue ignored. All the Garmin golf community claims for months about the lack of  functionality of resetting the maximum shot length statistics, since I guess everybody is facing for every club in his bag. All my clubs including the putter has maximum length 300, 600m... And this is case for every frequently playing user it seems.
    Does Garmin really care about its users ? I am sorry to be so rude but I think it may help you Garmin guys. Can you imagine how many users just change the device, without even searching for the forums like this ?

    I will be happy to here about your plans to take the complain into account please.

  • I used my Forerunner 935 a couple days ago and the shot map uploaded to Garmin Golf app with no issues. It's with my newer Forerunner 955 that the shot map does not upload. So for me the issue is the particular device. Odd that the newer one is not as capable as the older one. 

  • Exactly the same problem with me. When will the bug be fixed?
