Map detailed scorecard on Garmin golf app not working

Garmin S62 sometimes not showing detail score card in the Garmin golf app so you can’t see the shots and clubs on the map, I just get the main score card screen. So far about 50% of the rounds not showing the detail map. Any help would be appreciated before I move on to Apple Watch. Thanks

  • I am in the same scenario except I’m using a fenix 6. When I had a Vivoactive 3 the map displayed all the time. There is some sort of sync/map creation process not working on Garmin side. 

  • I have played 10 rounds since getting my s62  watch + ct10 sensors, and only about 2 rounds have had full details of shots made. The score card is fine correct full detail but in the clubs used and mapping of holes every round I play at my home course different holes are missing each round. I thought it was just this course but it happen no matter what course I am at seems to be when green from previous hole and tee box are close together but also happens when temp tees and temp greens are in use which this I can understand but there could be a facility to define temp tees and temp greens on a given day on the app. In any event why not give the ability to confirm nee tee box/hole after score is confirmed or entered.

  • I am experiencing the same problem. Several golf courses do not show the shots and clubs on the map, o ly the main scorecard. It seems that this is the course related problem : all the rounds played on those specific golf courses have the same issue, while on the other courses all the details are correctly shown.
    I tried downloading these golf courses, deleted app data, re-installed the app... Nothing worked of this
    Please help.

    This issue should be resolved with the most current version of the Garmin Golf app. 

    The most current version of the Garmin Golf app for both AndroidOS and iOS is 2.13.1. Check for updates via the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store to install. 

    Reach out if any concerns continue after verifying the most current version is installed to the app.

    - The current version is well 4.30
    - I use this watch for 15 months, and I play golf almost every days. I know how to use this watch. 
    I played again today at golf course in question, and it is still the same: no shots are tracked on the app. I played yesterday at another course, and everything was OKe.

    By the other words, at a couple of golf courses I play at frequently, the app does not show the map with the shots, under the scorecard.

    Has a fix been found for this issue?  I'm having the same issue with my S62 and Garmin app.  The shots are tracked/captured but app does not show the map with the shots.  This is only happening for one specific course which is the main one where I play. It was OK previously and just started a few months ago.  All the other courses display OK.  If I log in to the website the hole map and shots are there and display fine.  It's just the app and for this one course.  The watch and app are up to date.  I've tried clearing the cache and app date and reinstalling the app with no success.

  • Have you checked and made sure there are no adjustments to text size, or display size in your Android settings? That could also cause info to not display in the Garmin Golf app, as the menus are fixed based on defaults for those settings on the phone side. 

  • I've never adjusted any of those settings and they all appear normal size. I did check and reset it to be sure and nothing chnaged. The upper half of the screen with the scores look normal.  The bottom half of the screen is blank. This is where each hole os listed with a link to open the hole where the picture of the hole is shown with a depiction of each should taken.   Multiple other courses display fine.  The problem is only for this one specific course and only occurred recently.  Also, if I try to edit the scorecard it never opens.
