I tried to like it. i loved the way it looked and its features but I'll be damned if I'll pay $490 for a watch that can't do the simple things like notifications and allows users to modify their smart replies. That is motherhood and apple pie stuff. My wife's Garmin Envy hasn't dropped a notification yet and $300 bucks cheaper.
Yeh , it could be a dam good golf watch if only Garmin software guys bothered to fix it . I understand there could be issues in compatibility and phone software at launch etc BUT to take this long and no sign of a fix it does make you wonder if they are even looking into the issue at all ?!!!
Really Garmin, 4 months ago was your last reply on this post and the other notification problem post. Come on guys.
That's exactly why I returned my watch. Lack of responsiveness. It is easy for them post here that "they are working the problem" but no one could give anyone any estimates of when a patch would be issued for this problem or the notification problem. Waiting on my refund and then my new Samsung Watch 3 will be ordered.
And now, everytime my phone is getting low on battery, my watch turns off every notification, and I have to reset my watch all over again, it's a terrible 700$ spent, really, a shame
