Please help, every time I press wind during a round I get the message: Unable to get wind data. Check Garmin golf app connection. I have the app connected but get the same message - any ideas ?
thanks in advance

EDITED 9/11/2020:
The Golf APP is specifically passing the wind data through the internet and to your watch while you Golf. If you are using an iPhone, if you normally close your Connect Mobile APP, close…
It worked fine for me yesterday. I had to load the Garmin golf app on my iPhone first and then sync it with the watch. I then started a new round, on the watch and not in the app, and wind data was there…
Thanks very much. Pleased to report that sequence worked for me on Saturday and I was able to access the wind data for the first time in months.
I played again yesterday and the wind feature worked. All I can think of is did you sync the watch to your phone from within the Garmin golf app when you opened the app and then leave the golf app open on your phone? Following that process seems to be working for me.
I tried it today again and it didn’t work for the first half but suddenly it started to work from the back nine! I haven’t changed anything and I don’t understand the cause but now it worked anyway. Hope it works from the first hole next time. Thank you very much!
Ensure your watch is connected to the satellite. Don't skip this step when loading a course.
How do you turn off the Connect app? You can only seem to remove the app
So this was my fix up until about a week ago when I started to get the "Unable to get wind data. Check Garmin Golf app connection." error on my watch but now it is connected and showing connected in the Garmin Golf app. I've reinstalled the Garmin Golf app on my Galaxy S10 and rebooted the S62 but still no wind information. Suggestions?
So apparently you cannot test this without a GPS connection which is what I was doing. When it said searching for satellites I pushed the skip button and then checked the wind and got the error. Later in the day, I went to play and the wind speed and direction on the watch were working. It absolutely wasn't working last week during my league round so since then I reinstalled the app, restarted the watch, and repaired the S62 to my Galaxy S10+ and now it works.
