Thanks for your answer. Soft version is the good one (2.1). Connexion with my iPhone and Garmin Golf (1.27.0.8) is good. Score cards, shots and statistics are uploaded on the phone.
But message is always…
I tried it 3-4 times’ everytime outside with a good gps acquisition.
The solution (provided by the R&A) :
(2) Information on Wind and Other Weather Conditions.
Does this mean that the caddy is also available in tournament mode ?
Is wind indication in tournament not a breach of rule 14.3 ? I think it is :

Q3. What should the Local Rule permitting DMDs state?
A3. The wording of the recommended Local Rule (Appendix I, Part B, 9) reads as follows:
“Distance-measuring Devices:
[Specify as appropriate, e.g., In this competition, or For all play at this course, etc.], a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.”
I believe the rules were updated in 2019; have a look at https://www.usga.org/content/dam/usga/pdf/2019/rules/2019_UPDATE_USGA_DMD_FINAL.pdf
From Dave's link.
"Gauged or measured variable environmental conditions, such as wind speed or altitude"
It's pretty plain to me that it's not allowed but maybe because you have to push a button to access it that makes it OK to be available? The caddy feature and distance with slope are automatically displayed on the face if turned on. Wind is not.
