Garmin S60: How to tell your watch you have reached your putt

Hi,

I have just purchased a Garmin S60 and would like to know how you tell the watch when you have reached your shot into the green. i.e. I hit a fairway shot into the green or off a tee on a par 3. I just want the stats to record properly, I'm not bothered too much about recording actual putts and am happy with inputting these manually.

I just want to know if there is a function to basically tell it you have reached your shot on the green.

Scott - OK for shot counting and score tracking. But for distance tracking of that shot which found the green... there's (say) a 30-yard difference between being on the back of the green or the front.…

I think the watch assumes you were on the green when you no longer register any further shots and enter your score with your number of putts?

you can confirm this by looking at the graphic of your play in the garmin golf app. it will map where your shots were from on the hole and you'll see if it puts your last shot onto the green

In my case since I have CT10 on my putter when I hit my putt it then knows where I landed on the green and so how far I hit the shot and where on the green the ball finished
