Approach S60 with full set of CT10 Sensors

I have played four rounds. First 3 rounds were ok, some unrecorded shots but manageable and all individual shots were downloaded/saved to the app. However, the forth round had quite a number of missed shots and also actually added shots ?? But even more disappointing us the fact that none of the round has downloaded to the app maps to show how each hole was played. I’m really beginning to think that the CT10 full set us just not worth the money. Any advice would be welcome

I have used the CT10's on my S60 for the past year and have found them generally very reliable bar the odd occasion where shots were not detected. From what I have gathered is that if the GPS drops due to an overcast day then shots gets missed. Also if your ball lands close to a nearby green other than the one you're supposed to hit, there can be confusion marking the shot on the app. Finally I always listen to my watch alert me that a club being used has registered with the watch before I play the ball. On some occasions I have to switch clubs a few time before the one I want to use registers for play. Other than this, they work fine.

Thanks for thisThumbsup pretty much the same experience

  • Hi, it seems like this is happening to quite a few people and has been going on for a while ( see this thread for instance https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/golf/f/approach-s60/149001/hole-by-hole-not-showing-on-scorecard/938859#938859). I am in contact with Garmin (someone called Jamie) and will update that thread with any information they come back with

  • I have found the CT10s to be quite good, however, it seems to me that the S60 is reading in yards but the CT10s seem to be recording in metres. For example I hit my 5 iron into a green from 179 yards (S60) but later reading my stats I noted that this shot was recorded as 134 yards.
