Drive distance?

If I am in the 96% range on Drive on my handicap of 17.How come my drive distance is only 9% ?

My average drive is 235m or 257 yards so that's well above average?

If you are seeing drive showing 9% specifically, that indicates you are in the top 9% of golfers with a similar handicap. Being in the top 9% is a higher ranking (less golfers averaging distance) compared to being in the top 96% (larger group % with that distance).
