please add option to just see last shot tracer instead of last 5

You viewing the overhead view  to show a scatter plot with dots during practice sessions is not related to this topic of this post. Please create a new post or contact support if to outline your specific concern with the scatter plot you mentioned. 

The only option for toggling the way shots are displayed was mentioned in my initial comment on this post regarding the "Hide Shots" toggle available in the display setting menu during practice sessions. There is currently no information at this time regarding any additional options for managing the way shots display during practice sessions. If that changes, users will be notified.

I understand cody. that as admin you can not comment in support related questions, I hope that someone of the support team read the comments in this forum and respond instead. It would be greatly appreciated by user of this fantastic device.

Hopefully they can fix this! Shouldn’t be too difficult. 

one would think.   I submitted the same topic on the garmin ideas site shortly after getting this device as it is extremely annoying to me.  The idea of having a screen on the unit itself is great but having all these traces, especially the same color for all, clutters up the small screen and makes it especially annoying if using half the screen for viewing and the other half for data.   Disappointing that there has been no feedback from the garmin ideas site and not any help here either.   There is NO "Hide Shots" option, and going through each time to delete the prior shot is not exactly reasonable.  Expected more from garmin. 

When you are in any range session and you want to erase the shot tracer just click on your name at the bottom and then click on your name again in the center of the screen. Keeps your session going and clean. We only need 3 or 4 tracers on the main screen imo!

On 3.7.5 there is way to see only last shot from player view using driving range distance.  Select a club and in the left side menu select hide everything. Now only the last shot will be seen on the player view. Of course the scatter plot will show no shots. The option to clear the player view from all tracers also works press user ucon and again user icon the pops up and you will have an empty player view

Yesss. It currently shows all past shots, regardless of selected club. I don't have the best accuracy but even after 3 or 4 shots I can no longer tell which shot is the latest shot. Having to close a session and starting a new one to clear the shot tracers is a poor user experience.

Feature Request:
- add shot tracer visibility setting for: last shot only, single club shots, all club shots
- latest shot should be a different color than all past shots
- (optional) shot tracer visualization: solid or gradient.
   - color the shot tracer line by: height, velocity, carry, etc.
   - this is useful for troubleshooting a shot

I'm also confused, does he mean the software or app version?
