Is distance issue still not fixed?

I ran my R50 against my Skytrak+ and got them reading the same shot.  The R50 was 10-20 yards shorter and seemed short for what I normally hit.  Hoping a software update will help. There has not been an update for some weeks or maybe months. They both seemed to be reading similar club speeds. The R50 is really nice but needs tweaking and the built in course play and practice software needs a lot of improvement.  

I can tell you that nothing is going to happen. My unit is dead accurate on full shots. Only putting is off. So if they make an update to increase distance then my unit along with many many others are going to be off. 

Take it outside and hit a bucket with a range finder and see how it performs. 

Absolutely! Where is the next software update?!!! Come on Garmin, update us with E6 and more accurate metrics already. 

lol. As you were writing they were sending an update. I see putting has an update. Haven’t tried it yet but keeping fingers crossed it’s an upgrade.

It's interesting, a bunch of the fixes are for putting one even mentioning "putting mode". But the R50 doesn't even officially support putting, you can simply do it in HTH and GSPro. It would be nice if they added it. Also how did they not add yardage to the tee select page? That is such a simple change, probably less than 5 lines of code.

Did you get the 3.7 update? The post mentions that they have only rolled it out to 30% of devices so far.

I’m on 3.7. Haven’t tried putting in GSPro yet. HTH is the same. You have to hammer putts regardless of stimp speed. 

Where does Garmin list the releases and change notes?
