Offset the external display

The R50 desperately needs a feature that lets you offset the center point on an external display, allowing you to hit balls from not just into the center of a screen. For example with my setup I only have space to hit into the right half of the screen, meaning I have to aim 30 yards right of the "target" if i want it to go straight, often leading to pulls by trying to aim for the target line on the screen.

This is a feature on GSPro, Trackman & Foresight Sports

And no aiming the garmin at the center of the screen and hitting at the center of it doesn't work because the image on the display is still aimed "straight"

    Without this feature I cannot use Home Tee Hero and only use GSPro. Would like the option to use HTH as well as it offers way more courses and is quicker to get into the game but without offset I can’t hit a straight ball. It seems like the simplest feature to implement from my experience in 3d game development.

    Completely agree this needs to be added, it’s a little bit off putting tbh as when you can’t offset the external screen which your setup is (like mine) I tend to find I have a bit of a bad habit of hitting to the ball on the screen which ends up being a pull.

I will continue to add R50 users expressing interest in this feature to the ticket, so please continue to comment if you would like options for options regarding the display in relation to the target line.

    Yes please add feature.  Do you have an ETA?  I love the R50 but will be returning it.  Without the offset feature it won't work in my set up.

    The R50 will work without this feature, and there is not a confirmation as to whether this will or will not be added.

    It’s disingenuous to call that a duplicate post and to delete it. They were expressing that they’d be returning their device because without offset Home Tee Hero and the Practice range isn’t very useful. The most important thing about golf is getting your club face square to the target. If the target isn’t in front of you that’s very difficult to practice. This is a necessary feature and should have been a day 1 feature. It’s great you are considering adding it but trying to manipulate how this appears by deleting legitimate feedback is just fooling yourselves and going to make it harder for Garmin to produce the best product you can. 

    Please consider this feature. 

    To the original poster you can try using GSPro if that is an option for you.
