Garmin Golf App +R10: Disappearing Driving Range Sessions (iPhone)

Hello,

Has anyone experienced disappearing range sessions (or partial sessions) lately? I had one session show up a few hours later but it was no big deal. Today I had an awesome session and was really excited to see the data. I opened it while leaving the range and 105 shots or so were saved and the map looked populated accurately to my practice. When I get home to analyze, clean and export- only 27 shots over 3 clubs were saved!

I read of similar issues about 3 years ago… just wondering if it’s similar and if that data is recoverable or not?

any support is greatly appreciated!! Seriously hoping I can recover that data…

  • Happened again to me.  55 shots reduced to 33.  I noticed that the app would not let me save comments or tags (Error message) or if I wanted to edit anything, it would error out.  I guess that is an indicator that the session will disappear as it happened also with my first batch.  

    It really sucks because I had a very detailed practice session that I really wanted to analyze.  Please, Garmin- any support here to recover this data!!

  • In the Garmin Golf app, tap the "Profile" tab at the bottom of the opening screen in the app > Then tap the orange name card to open your User Profile information > Then confirm that your profile information is complete from that screen. 

    If any information is missing from your User Profile, then fill out the information to complete your account profile. Then force quit the Garmin Golf app and re-open the app. Check and see if shot information is populating correctly. 

    Also confirm the Garmin Golf app is updated to the most current version available, which can be check by searching the app page in the App Store or Play Stores, which will display updates available or needing installed for the Golf app. 

    In your smartphone settings, check for updates to the iOS or AndroidOS version for your phone model and update to the most current version available if your mobile device needs updated as well. 

    Unsubscribing to the Garmin Golf app membership or if there is a period of time where you membership expired and was not renewed, shots in sessions where video capture was used will only remain as long as the Garmin Golf app is not uninstalled.
