Loss of Bluetooth Connection when Switching from HTH to Driving Range or vice versa

My R10 is up to date with version 4.30 and I'm using a Pixel 7 with Garmin Golf App also up to date.

My general issue is:

Turn on device, open app and start one type of game mode, all is good
End a session on either HTH or Driving Range
Device immediately changes from flashing green light to flashing blue light (manual suggests that at this point the device has lost Bluetooth connection and trying to reconnect)
Wait for reconnection but it never happens, even if another game mode is reopened
Hard reset of device and app
Device now connects again properly

This is obviously very very annoying if you want to even switch the style driving range you are using. Takes like a 3min faffing around

Is this a known issue?

Same issue here. It also happens when finished playing a round in HTH and then try to play a second round. Basically, the bluetooth connection dies straight away after playing a round in HTH.

Hello, for either of you, does clearing the Bluetooth connection completely between the R10 and phone make any difference? If no, maybe uninstalling the app as well and then establishing a new connection could resolve this issue.

Finally my garage is almost done, and had a session yesterday.

Only connection issue was when ending a range session and started up hth.

Then the R10 was asleep, but normal short press got it ready again.

Obviously there is something happening when closing either range session or hth.

Edit: had another session and checked what happened when ending range session. Can confirm that unit was flashing blue befor going to white flasing (sleep mode).

So my guess is that this is common for all units, and should not be very difficult to reproduce for Garmin techs....

Yes, loss of bluetooth connection happens when finishing a round in hth.

I have exactly the same issue. Every time I use it it works fine, then as soon as I change the game or driving range I'm playing it disconnects. I have to shut down the r10, close the app on my phone and start everything again to get it to reconnect. So annoying.

I had thought this was related to the recent bad app update, but the the issue is still occurring on the newest update released for Android 2-10-2023.

Any update on this issue as I purchased my R10 recently and have found the same problem when ending a session it drops out.

Only fix I've found us close the app and go back in

I have the same Problem, on the driving range I just start with the "Driving Range" part of the app. Works fine. Afterwards I store the training and switch to Home Tee hero and then the connection to the RT10 get lost. I have to restart teh RT10 and then I can play Home tee hero.
