I have been using the R10 for a couple days now and my distances seems way off. Seems very club is approx 20yards short from the range? Is there anything that needs to be done with calibration?

I'm a new owner couple days. Every club is ridiculously short. On real course I bomb 250 on bad hits....I struggle to get 180yds reading. All the irons seem like they are read like an 8I. Can't get…
Similiar problem for me, been using for a couple of days and all clubs are only recording 2/3 distance, checked the setup with a tape measure and spirit level and still the same problem. I have tried inside…
I want to love this thing had such high hopes and as is has become an enormous let down.
Same here: the reason I bought it was to use indoors into a net. I use Android so will wait and see if calibration improves the performance of the device. At the moment it's not much fun because I know the numbers shown on the device are frequently (too frequently) way off. However, I do think that Garmin will improve this or they have to clearly state that the R10 is not suitable for indoor use.
So at the ask of Garmin techs I tested my unit indoors and outdoors. Running 3.7 and calibrated before every use. As you can see, indoor distances are way too short.
Android calibration is available came on the last update of the play store app. Doesn't do anything though unfortunately. For me anyway
Also heard back from the help desk. Apparently Mirrors in the room also don’t mix well with the R10. I have a large one on the back wall to check my backswing . Will cover up and retest this weekend …
Me either. Also I hit my 8 iron and 6 iron almost the same distance the longer the club the worst the distance becomes.
Same for me. Only used a couple of times and driver seems around 60-80yds off. Used at the driving range only.
Got the resident pro to hit a shot and he nailed it dead straight. Showed a 187 drive
R10 Distance Issue Update - Just in case anyone is listening....distances are still off and short. Just sayin"
Yep, same for me
Hello. Since yesterday I have been using the R10 in my living room. Today at noon I did a driving range session and played a round of 18 holes. The values were all like on the pitch.
Tonight I wanted to play another round with the same setup. However, all strokes were 10-20% too short. Tonight I had to work with light in the living room because it was already dark outside. Can it have anything to do with it? Where should the light source come from or from which direction?
The Light source shouldn't make any difference. In theory doppler radar should work in the dark
