Why don't the MARQ models get the firmware updates like the fenix 8 series (almost the same function - except for technically impossible functions like ECG)?

I own the Garmin MARQ Adventurer Gen2, which is a premium product in terms of purchase price.
Why don't the MARQ models get the firmware updates like the fenix 8 series (almost the same function - except for technically impossible functions like ECG)?
I think that if such premium products are not kept up to date, then it's no wonder that sales of such watches are not going so well, especially if Garmin Connect+ is now also being offered for a fee.
