SDK Manager unable to download SDKs or devices

I created a new Garmin account a week ago, but am unable to download any lists or content using SDK Manager.
There are a lot of threads on the recent login issues, but whether initially using version 1.0.6 or now 1.0.8, the error code remains the same.

After logging in and completing the wizard, I end up getting an error 335544xx.
Could it be related to using an HTTP proxy? When logging in to the web portal, I occasionally had to fill in a captcha.

I tried two different systems:
Windows 10 Pro (22H2) -> Error 33554437
Windows 11 Pro -> Error 33554438

The output isn't exactly helpful. Aren't there any logs to get any details on what's wrong?

  • Hi @Brandon.ConnectIQ , SteveC is correct.

    There's an issue there. The application does login but it does not work behind my company's proxy either.

    After the login, I'm also having "Unable to download the list of SDKs. Error code: 33554467

  • Okay, thanks for the update. We're thinking this may be a problem with an unsigned certificate installed on your machines, likely related to the proxy you mentioned. I'm not familiar with all the details of your situation, but if you're able to try this while not behind a proxy, that could at least give us some info that would be helpful. If you must work behind the proxy, we can work directly with you to provide special builds of the SDK Manager to try logging additional info that could help us find a solution. If you want to take this approach, email me [email protected] and we can follow up via email.

  • I already tried this, with no change at all.

    The attempt using the Windows 11 Pro system and SDK Manager 1.0.8 was a completely new one: it wasn't run previously on that system and still reported an error.

    I did one more attempt right now from a WiFi network: I still get the same error after completing the wizard:
    "Unable to download the list of SDKs. Error code : 33554437"

  • There were some login issues that were ultimately addressed in version 1.0.8. I recommend deleting sdkmanager-config.ini file in \Users\<username>AppData\Roaming\Garmin\ConnectIQ\ directory and re-launching SDK manager.
