Have you considered adding additional color options such as: Dark Blue, Dark Red, Dark Green, etc.? Would be nice to have darker options instead of the brighter versions of the above colors.

Keep up the good work, great watch face.

    This would be good addition.

I'm hoping sunset/sunrise moves over to left side to right of active bar so that will centre the main time a bit more.

Can you also tweak max height of white line? It's running into the max steps and kcals numbers just above the graph.

    Thanks Petr!

Hi, I own a 920XT and just installed the new version. The seconds and the sunrise is enabled in the options but neither of them is showed on the watch. The other settings like color works pretty well. Is it a characteristic of the 920XT that the seconds are not shown?

Furthermore: are the batches also gone on the 920XT? I am asking since there is still space for it above the daily step count. I found the batches really helpful for motivation...

Same problem with my Fenix3, I have latest ActiFace installed and firmware is 6.50.
Color will change nicely from Garmin Connect Mobile but sunrise/sunset and seconds not shown while enabled.
  • Hi, I'm not experiencing this issue but you can try steps that helped in the similar case mentioned below..

Clear your CIQ apps and their settings. That means to delete everything in folder /GARMIN/APPS, including SETTINGS and DATA subdirectories.
Then you can try to install it again.
  • I dont know how where to find the folder /GARMIN/APPS. Is it visible after connecting the watch to my PC? If I delete the folder's content, what happens to other watchfaces or data fields?
  • Yes, it is on drive which is mounted when you connect F3 to your computer.
Clearing APP directory will wipe out all CIQ stuff from the device and you will have to install it again. But it's not easy to remove one specific application with its settings, because names are randomly generated.

Have you tried to uninstall ActiFace, restart the watch and install it again?
  • I've been using the Actiface watch face on my Fenix 3 for months now and love it, but today it reverted the the basic digital display. I've gone back into settings and reset it to actiface but whenever I do all I get is the digital watch face. Other watch faces seem to be working OK and I have re-downloaded Actiface and reinstalled it.

I've never had any issues with it before and all was working fine under the new 6.50 firmware until this morning when Actiface stopped working.

    Any ideas?

    Al.
  • Try to change and save configuration in Garmin Express.
  • Ok, got it working now by deinstalling and installing the Watchface again. Nevertheless, on my 920XT, the seconds vanish after some time and the following is shown: --:-- along with an icon. If I deactivate sunrise/sunset in the settings (and have only seconds activated) neither the seconds nor the --:-- is shown.

Is this normal behavior or a bug?
  • Try to get GPS fix, I don't know when you got gps activated for the last time, but ActiFace needs load your last coordinates and if you didn't find satellites from last fw update for example, you maybe need to refresh it once. Seconds can be displayed only for a few seconds, because CIQ turns into Low energy mode after a while.
  • That's strange since I go running four times a week. Therefore the last GPS fix was on tuesday. Nevertheless, I will go running today, too. I will give a notice here whether sunrise/sunset will work then.

But let me ask another question: It sounds wise to put the watch in an energy mode after a while. So I am wondering what's the sense behind showing the seconds for a short period of time? Is there any use case I miss?
