    Thanks..

Hmm, it could be better with bigger font. I try to find another.. But custom font will be always uglier than native because it is not smoothed by antialiasing. And 24h format (i.e. 22:23) is pretty wide, so it's not easy to find the correct font. It's a shame that native font of this size on Epix is much bigger than the same size on other models.

I've just uploaded new version 1.8.1 with standard Roboto font for Epix, can you try it?
  • Install both blue and red ......

I have tried and I am guessing there is no way to have BOTH red and blue versions installed at the same time?
I have a Fenix 3 and was hoping to have BOTH versions installed at the same time (not selected and in use at the same time but only installed).
When I go to do this, one version is always automatically UNINSTALLED.
    Why do I want both?
I have a blue band and red band and it's kind a cool to match up the watch face colors.
I'm guessing this is a Garmin limitation?
    Thanks

I personally like the Roboto font much better.

Garmin will allow watchface configurations via Garmin Connect Mobile in late September, then I'll make the color configurable. For now, both Actiface Blue and Red have the same name, because it can't be changed.
  • An issue on epix

    Hi,

Fist of all congrats for this great face. I detect an issue that maybe is not due to the face, but that happens when a reboot is done on epix. The Activity done (steeps and sleep information) is gone in each reboot, and in the history appears a new "today" on Activity for every reboot (empty with no steeps). ActiFace then adds a this "fake today" on the chart, showing, for every reboot a new empty column.
As an example on a day with 7 reboots the chart will show a chart with no information (all empty) since the new 7 "fake todays" the epix creates.
I'm not sure if this behavior happens o everyone, or only to me.

    Regards,
  • 2 RFEs

Thank you for creating this amazing watch face. I have 2 RFEs:
1.- Swap location of todays distance and calories with the Max values. I have trouble seeing todays calories on the Fenix 3.
2.- Any way to add your recovery hours? Somewhere you can cram 2 digits on the face that if the recovery time is greater than 1 hour it shows up..?
Also, totals for the week vs Max values would be great as others have noted.

I switched from a Polar V800 to the F3 last week and the data your display on this watch face played a small part in the investment. I went from being morbidly obese the first 20 years of my adult life (going up a single flight of steps was a major deal then) and just in the last year and half have become fit. I track my food intake daily with MFP and have daily exercise goals regarding calories I need to burn in exercise, cardio fitness goals (VO2max, resting HR, recovery HR), strength training, and running goals. The graph on the watch face enables me to, at a very quick glance, see how I am doing with my calorie burning goals today and over the week which both helps motivate me and maintain accountability. Thanks!!!

    Hi,

I'm affraid that your activity tracker is somehow stuck. You should try to reset your Step totals and then do a master reset if step reset didn't helped. The ActiFace doesn't create any records in the history, it only reads all available history records.

    Hi Scott,

I'm pleased that ActiFace is motivating for you and that it can little help you. Thanks for your comments.

    To your proposals..

1 - I'm going to make today calories white, same as today distance.. I'll change "kC" units above the graph (as a legend for graph colors)
2 - unfortunately custom watchfaces don't have the recovery time available in their API.. Anyway it could be very useful, I hope that Garmin will add this information to the API.
  • Version 1.8.2

    - today stats are completely in white for better visibility
    - added white and color arrow next to maximums as graph color legend
