Application: Sailing

This thread is for any comments or questions regarding my Sailing application. Feel free to post suggestions for new features or bugs. Thanks for using.

First - Thanks for application. Very liked and donated to continue developing.

I think its very good idea. Prefer to see on screen in big fonts - 10sec ( possible 20-30sec) average SOG (Speed Over Ground) and GPS ( not magnetic ) COG ( Course Over Ground ).

Timer is very good idea and working well

First of all, Thank you for your donation!

You can see the 10sec average SOG in big letters in the velocity view (the one with the graph). Just press the start button to cycle through the values
On the start view you can see the COG (Bearing) it is calculated from two GPS positions that have to be at last 0.01 NM apart

If you can make them bigger it will be better and for me i prefer average 10s speed on top.
May be you can do a little bit more in app compare actual speed and average speed 10s , if actual speed is greater then draw ^ near speed if less so draw V .
Everything must be as big as possible i talking about letters speed 10s speed and so on because in the race you have no time to check watch you must see it without problems or without take your hand to you .

It will be great. If possible to add COG (probably like compass in first screen ) it will be ideal :)

WOW love it if you can add "^" "V" comparing with current speed it will be perfect

How would you display the "^" and "V". If current speed is higher than AVG10 display "^" or the other way round?

The page with the countdown and the recording is not fluid, i mean the Numbers remain the same until i push some button then it refresh.
Is it normal?

I've recognized this behavior, too. I'm currently working on some advanced features for yacht racing (especially the startline feature). The view you are refering to will host this and I'll make everything work fluid then.
