I'm looking for beta testers, who can test the new version of GF3FadeDark. Especially people living in a different time zone I'm living in (GMT+1:00).

You can download the beta version here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3886239/GF3FadeDark.prg

    Many thanks in advance.

Thanks Arjo, I live in same timezone but I will test it anyway.

But how can we know if the bug last is resolved as we're not in the end or the beginning of a month ?
(like you predicted, the previous version worked again since the 3st december but if I have well understand, the bug should occur again in the end of december, right ?)

    Hi CHROSTYPHE,

you're right. We have to wait for the end of this year. But in this beta version there shouldn't be any bugs (famous last words :D )
AT the end of this year both the month and the year will change. But in the past there was also a timezone bug, and I want to check I didn't re-introduce this bug in this new version.
Unfortunately the ConnectIQ SDK doesn't support a good testing facility, so testing is limited and a very cumbersome process.

Stay tuned cause I'm also working on color settings for this watchface.

    Hi Arjo,

Ok, no problem, the beta version is installed since yesterday and works fine (like previous version).
Good to know that you will still improve this watchface although it is perfect for me with the current colors.

    Good job !

    Beta tester from the US

    Hi Arjo,

I will be happy to be a beta tester, from CST (-6GMT).

Unfortunately, I don't know what to do with the file. I downloaded it and have it ready. If you instruct me how to load it onto my watch, I'll let you know how it goes.

    All my best,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,

just connect your device to you pc with an USB cable. Use your file manager to navigate to the Garmin/Apps folder of your device. You'll see some *.prg files. Just put it there. That's all.
But you can go now to the Garmin store and download v3.0. ;)
    Enjoy.

I'm on GMT+8. I have the face installed. What do you need me to do to test?

    Hello agnotheist,

thank you for helping me out. The test is quit simple: just tell if the data displayed on the watch face is showing the correct data (day, day of the week & month).
Without the "timezone bug" it should display the correct data, if not, well than I re-introduced the bug in this new version again. :(
You do not have to reply if everything is OK, I only need to now what your watch face is showing in case of incorrect data.

    Many thanks,

    Arjo

Glad to help. No incorrect data.

How do I change the colors on it?
