makeWebRequest: reponsetype application/vnd.api+json

Hi there,

is it possible to set the reposnsetype to application/vnd.api+json in a makeWebRequest?

I only found the type HTTP_RESPONSE_CONTENT_TYPE_JSON without vnd. Unfortunaly this does not work for me.

Whats in he documentation is all that's available. The vnd seems to indicated "vendor specific". You may want to consider using a proxy to specify just json.

Currently, the only solution that will work 100% of the time is to modify the response Content-Type header before it gets back to the device.

Using HTTP_RESPONSE_CONTENT_TYPE_JSON is supposed to work in the but there is an issue with the WiFi code in the simulator and GCM/Android that rejects responses with mismatched Content-Type headers. This issue is on my radar and I'm trying to get it fixed. Unfortunately it is not going to happen quickly.
