Hello,
How to get the bluetooth connection state ? in the API there is new options since the SDK 3.0.0 with the object ConnectionInfo but when I try this in my Simulator the ConnectionInfo.state value is null. So How can I get the bluetooth statue (off, on but not connected, connected)

What watch do you have? Have you checked the bug reports to see if there are any reported bugs?

Vivoactive 4S. I haven't seen any bug reports for this, but I didn't search carefully yet.

Is your phone Android or iOS? I seem to recall something with iOS and if GCM was running in the foreground or not.

iOS 14.4.2 . What is GCM?

GCM = Garmin Connect Mobile. It's what you are "connected to" on the phone. Try again with that open on your phone.

OK tried it. No difference. BT still indicates connected. Garmin Cogwheels and Quantum Tactix watch faces do the same.

With GCM open, I tried turning BT off on the phone. Then turned it back on and tried going to the watch Controls menu and setting Phone: off. So I don't see what GCM being open would do for me to rectify this behaviour.

What happend if you show connected, then walk a good ways away from your phone/ When the watchface has done a update, does it show you are no longer connected?

OK. Did that and took a walk around the block. No change, BT always shown as connected on my watch face and the other 2 I mentioned. Seems like a firmware bug to me.

As it works fine with Android, this is likely not a firmware bug but a bug in GCM. Make sure you are running the latest version of that on your phone.

I would also suggest to reboot the watch. I have had some reported cases where devices can sync with GCM fine, but CIQ apps get confused on the BT state such as think they are disconnected when they are not. It is possible the CIQ VM in your watch is not getting updated properly. Usually a reboot clears it up.
