unique device id

Is it possible to retrieve the watch's unique device id or serial number on a VA-HR? I suspect there are interesting attributes in System.getDeviceSettings() but I can't find what they are :(

Is there a solution or work-around for this limitation? I also need to have a unique ID for the device + app combo in order to authenticate the device with my webservice.

I'm still at the concept stage and this would change how I develop the solution.
