system 7 and web requests from main process

Does somebody have a sample or howto run the webrequest with monkey versio 5 or system 7 in the main process?
Does this approach remove the limitation of making a request each five minutes, on the supported devices?

Nothing changed for watch faces. You can't do Comm from the main app, only a background service, and the background can run at most every 5 minutes.

Still wrong. onStart is called by both the main app as well as the background service. And there is no such thing as System.startBackgroundService
