Feature request : Determine the date formatting

There is a way to find out what the watches distance measurement should be in, i.e. KM or MILES.

But can we also have a way to determine whether the user wants the date in MM/DD/YY or DD/MM/YY format?

We need a way to make a call to find out the device config for this setting so we can display accordingly.

The thing to remember is MM/DD/YY is US format but we in Europe large parts of the rest of the world use DD/MM/YY so this affects customers worldwide!

No real change, but there are now app settings (both on a phone and on the watch itself.). I just have a setting for the date format.

I just wanted to bump this conversation back up, since it seems to be a very important one for our international customer base. (I'm US-based, but 90% of my customers are not.).

I'm considering just adding an extra setting for the watch face, but that takes up code/memory space, and it's not something the customers can apply once across all their watch faces.

Has anyone come up with a better solution for this?

I'm considering submitting an official feature request into the bug report area, but I wanted to check here first.
