Simulator Buttons Not Working

I'm using SDK 3.2.2 in both Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.15.6, and I'm trying to test the new on-device settings feature for a watch face. The Analog sample watch face has some example code for this. I successfully used it in the simulator a couple of weeks ago, but now when I try to click on the buttons in the simulator, nothing is happening. I have no idea if something changed or if I'm not doing it right. I'm clicking the mouse over the buttons in the simulator image. For the VA3, I'm doing a long click on the watch screen. Still no menu for on-device settings. Am I doing something wrong?

In the sim, to get to this, go to Settings>Trigger App Settings.

The same problem: no response from buttons in simulator. "Trigger App Settings" option is inactive. How to solve it?

Do you have the latest SDK and eclipse plugin? Do you have a settings view in your watch face?

sdk 4.0.5, plugin reinstalled. Option still inactive. I'm beginner. I created simple watchApp to train usage of InputDelegate class. Do watchFaces respond to buttons? What do you mean by "settings view"?

Nope. No buttons are available in a watch face.

A settings view is used with on device settings for a watch face or data field. See the analog sample in the SDK.

When I try "Input" watchApp from Samples, buttons works in simulator. And option "Trigger App Settings" is still inactive so it seems it has no connection with availability of buttons in simulator.

With a device app, do you include the delegate in the return of getInitialView. Device apps don't allow a settings view, so trigger app settings will be grayed out in the sim. Only watch faces and DF allow that.
