SORRY MY USERS

Garmin ciq is not usable. I can't test my application on watch, My Xperia version GCM don't write properites correctly, my mac version GE write 'one', watch get 'two'.

I try ask, please.

When we can get stored POI's? No Yes, no No, no Why.
Why we can't change watchfaces directly from watch?
Why we can't test applications properites w/o upload to store?
Why we must wait 9 monts for properites? - and still unusable.

Good bye garmin. This is my last Garmin product ever.
  • I loved Rugged, and was so sad to see it deleted from CIQ, but it was still 'thankfully' on my Fenix3 and working flawlessly....

...til today when it's vanished!!! :(
    Such a shame :(

The developer did post a link to where you can download it

    http://sergiusz.com/ciq/

Then connect with USB and then copy it to the garmin\apps folder on the watch

    Thanks, I did see that.

    Edit:
I'll have a fiddle with the settings.
(didn't read them all the way through properly and thought I'd be stuck with incorrect age/height/weight details)

Would still LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see someone produce a watch face inspired by this one. Besides just digging the look of it, it's the best face I've found for my old eyes to see at a quick glance.

I downloaded it from his website, and after (a somewhat tedious routine of) going through the settings to change the colours to how I used to have it, I now have my Rugged watchface back :)

Tried to figure that one out to rotate the face, couldn't get it to work.
  • Weird, it worked for me.

Set birth year to 1900, key height in as 35, then if you wear on your left wrist: put weight as 4 (if I recall....)
If it's not correct try again as 5.

You need to go back to the watchface after each setting change though
