Tanita status update

There is a competing device from Garmin appearing, they won't do anything for Tanita. You have to ask Tanita to do something in the Connect IQ system.

It uses WiFi to send the data to GC.

The problem with an Ant+ scale is that even if the watch could get the data over Ant+, there is nothing the watch could do with it (it can't update GC, or even change the weight in it's own settings.)

I know it's been late and the current functions are limited but you may give my appBC-1000 a try.
Currently it is possible to display the weight and upload weight data to GC (as an connectIQ datafield).
I can only test with BC-1000 and FR920XT, other watches and Tanita scales may work.
If there is positive feedback for FR920XT i can add support for other watches.

La société TANITA n'est pas du tout commerçante. Ils ne veulent pas créer une application pour la garmin, de même lorsqu'on leur demande de vendre en dehors des états-unis l'adaptateur ant+/wifi, ils s'y refusent.

Et pas la peine de leur poser une question sur facebook, ils ne répondent pas non plus.

Pour vendre, ça ils savent faire mais pour écouter et suivre les demande de clients, il n'y a plus personne!!! Mon ancienne balance était une withings, je pense que la prochaine sera une withings ou la garmin, car j'en ai marre de me battre contre des murs qui ne pensent qu'à leur profit.

TANITA is not a trader at all. They do not want to create an application for the garmin, so when they are asked to sell outside the united states the ant + / wifi adapter, they refuse.

And not worth asking them a question on facebook, they do not respond either.

To sell, that they know how to do but to listen and to follow the demands of customers, there is nobody anymore !!! My old balance was a withings, I think the next one will be a withings or garmin, because I'm tired of fighting against walls that only think for their benefit.

I'm not affiliated with Tanita or Garmin, this is a private/personal project primarily for use of my own (BC-1000).
I can't guarantee if newer scales will work.
I also contacted Tanita and i got approval to use there name in the app store.

I'm currently waiting for some feedback from other users since my testing with other devices is limited.
But if you are willing to test i will check with the simulator and a new release will be available soon.

L'application fonctionne, je vois bien mon poids apparaitre sur la montre, lorsque je regarde dans l'activité, elle apparait mais lorsque je regarde le détail, il n'y a rien dedans, pas de poids, pas de masse grasse, pas de masse hydrique, etc etc

As mentioned in the App Description (Restrictions) currently only weight can be read out.
The weight should be visible in Garmin Connect or Garmin Connect Mobile.
Otherwise can you please send me your FIT file.
