Oregon 6x0: GPS - Empfang ??

Hallo
nach Monaten des Wartens habe ich heute mein Oregon 600t erhalten und bin gleich richtig enttäuscht :confused:
Eine GPS- Genauigkeit von 7-12 meter habe ich heute beim Geocaching nie unterschritten !!! ein absolutes ..geht ja garnicht !!! War so nix zu finden !!
Da war das olle Schmartphone von unserm Sohn besser....ganz zu schweigen von urrgestein Oregon 300...das, eigentlich durch das 600t ablösen werden sollte.

Hat wer erfahrungen gemacht und /oder ein ähnliches Problem?

Einstellungen waren folgende

GPS und WAAS/EGNOS ein
GPS / GLONASS und WAAS/EGNOS
GPS und WAAS/EGNOS aus usw.usw. usw.

Yes, this Oregon track was recorded without GLONASS and WAAS+EGNOS disabled.

The track yesterday was ok too with this settings.

And the faulty track was with GLONASS enabled, correct? (which firmware version, please)?

Yes, that's correct.

I walked this route last week every day, and tracked it with my oregon a few times (settings GLONASS enabled, WAAS/EGNOS disabled).
Strange is, that the faulty tracks are recorded when the weather was fine. The Tracks were even better when the weater was bad (raining and very cloudy).

Strange is too, that the bad tracks are on the same parts of the route really off. See the track of my post #225.
The curve on the upper right side of the track and the end of the track near the sportplace (I never walked over the sportplace). The Route I walked was always the same (see my Forerunner GPX).

Die Strecke bin ich heute nochmals abgelaufen. Beim Oregon 650 habe ich GLONASS ausgeschalten. Also nur GPS.

Der Track ist deutlich besser, auch auf den Wegen habe ich jetzt keine Zäune überklettert

hüte Dich vor fremden Frauen und Sachen die die Russen bauen .....;)

GLONASS hatten wir schon durch. Die Genauigkeitsprobleme treten mit und ohne GLONASS auf (accuracy problem occurs both with GLONASS on and off, has been discussed already).

Der Thread dreht sich im Kreis. Klar geht es mal wieder besser, wenn man GLONASS an- und abschaltet. Es initialisiert sich irgendwas neu im Gerät, dann passt es mal wieder für einen Tag oder nur für ein paar Meter, oder es einfach die berüchtige Unberechenbarkeit des Geräts, dass es mal klappt und mal nicht. GLONASS ist allenfalls ein weiterer Faktor, der das Problem weiter aufschaukeln könnte, genauso wie WAAS/EGNOS.

Thank you for the clarification! I want to be sure I have facts correct before reporting to Garmin. I appreciate your help!

Da hast du sicherlich Recht, nur mann muss es BABJ616 hoch anrechnen, dass er sich auch hier an den Problemberichten und Lösungen beteiligt und nicht nur in seinem Forum auf http://garminoregon6xx.wikispaces.com/page/messages/home
