error: incompatible network type

My fenix3hr showing incompatible network type since last update a few days ago… now unable to sync when at home… why? Sw version is 5.6

Did some research and turns out, Garmin added minimum requirements to the Wi-Fi connections, meaning the device needs a more secure Wi-Fi connection to ensure the integrity of data transfer. Up'ed the security…

Did some research and turns out, Garmin added minimum requirements to the Wi-Fi connections, meaning the device needs a more secure Wi-Fi connection to ensure the integrity of data transfer. Up'ed the security on my bedroom AP and now it's working again.

Supported Frequency: 2.4 GHz

Security: Unencrypted, WPA, and WPA2

Password Length: 8 characters minimum

NOTE: Hidden networks are not compatible.

Hi... I now have wpa2+wpa3. My password is/was 16 characters.
