Installation Instructions
1.Connect your fenix 3 HR to your computer using the USB cable. Download and unzip Fenix3HR_Beta.zip.
2.Navigate to the \Garmin\RemoteSW folder and remove any files that may reside there. If you do not see any files in \Garmin\RemoteSW, then please ignore this step and move to step #2.
3.Place the GUPDATE.RGN file in the \GARMIN directory
4.Disconnect from your computer and proceed through the update path
5.Connect your Fenix 3 HR to your computer
6.Place GUP1909.bin, GUP2196.GCD, GUP2414.BIN, GUP2415.GCD in the \GARMIN\REMOTESW directory
7.Disconnect from your computer and proceed through the update path
8.If you would like to revert to the last public release software, follow the above steps (ignoring step #3), but place the gupdate_220.rgn file in the \GARMIN folder. Rename the file to gupdate.rgn before disconnecting your device. NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults.
