I recently made an Lactate Test on the treadmill and compared it to the values on my Fenix 3. Now i am confused beacause my real lactate threshold (The moment the lactet starts to rise but still gets metabolized to stay on a quite low level (steady state) ) is on about 146 beats per Minutes. And my individual anaerobic threshold (The moment the lactate rises and does not get metabolized any more) is on 170 beats per minutes. One can say the lactate threshold is 70-80% heartrate of the individual anaerobic threshold.
But my Fenix shows me a lactate threshold on about 176 beats per minutes what would mean my individual anaerobic threshold is on about 210bpm :)))
Does Garmin mean by lactate threshold the individual anaerobic threshold ? Then it would match quite well with my real lactate test.
