BaseCamp 4.2.1 Download funktioniert nicht

Die aktuelle offizielle Version ist aber die 4.1.2 (nicht 4.2.1)

Wenn Ihr wollt, kann ich Euch die 4.1.2 zum Download bereitstellen - ggf. melden.

BaseCamp 4.2.1 Download funktioniert nicht!

Ein Update funktioniert im Moment weder direkt aus BaseCamp heraus "Bei der Kommunikation mit dem Garmin-Update-Server ist ein Problem aufgetreten. .......",
noch über "Garmin Customer Service - Updates and Downloads", wo man in eine tolle Endlosschleife geführt wird :confused::confused::confused:

Hätte mich auch sehr gewundert, wenn das auf´s erste Mal funktioniert hätte.
Wird bei Garmin überhaupt noch etwas getestet bevor es online gestellt wird :confused:

Vielleicht haben sich zuviele hungrige Wölfe um die Beute gestritten, sodass der Leitwolf eingreifen musste. ;)

Ja, es gibt tatsächlich eine V 4.2.1.

Aus der vorherigen Beta-Version heraus ließ sich das Update installieren und wird auch nicht mehr als Beta bezeichnet.

Ausgehend von der V 4.1.2 wird allerdings kein Update angeboten.

Es gibt da einen Fehler beim Update-Server fuer alles, was nicht Englisch ist. Das wird behoben.

Bis dahin bitte den Direkt-Link nutzen oder BaseCamp 4.1.2 auf Englisch starten.

Die IT-Götter sollten das jetzt behoben haben. Das Upgrade von BaseCamp 4.1.2 aus sollte jetzt normal funktionieren.

Habe gerade mal ein "Dongle" aktualisiert und von Europa auf Westeuropa umgestellt, anschließend Basecamp gestartet und das hat eigenständig auf die 4.2.1 hingewiesen, den Download angeboten, heruntergeladen und anschließend auch problemlos installiert.
Bei der Installation war noch BC 4.1.2 installiert. Extra die Installation vorher gestoppt, um nach zu sehen welche Version da nun eigentlich bei einem aktuellen Download mit installiert wird.

ich hatte das selbe Problem.
Bin fast wahnsinnig geworden.

Dann habe ich den Link kopiert und in den Browser eingefügt. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Link so geschrieben war = www8. garmin.......

Als ich das, sah habe ich die 8 gelöscht und siehe da - es hat tadellos funktioniert.

Aber ich habe ein anderes Problem:
Auf meinem Laptop kann ich BaseCamp nicht mehr starten. Es kommt sofort die Meldung:

"Bei der Installation von basemap ist ein Problem aufgetreten.
Installieren Sie basemap, und starten Sie BaseCamp erneut."

Ich weiss nicht mehr weiter.
Auch mehrmaliges Neuinstallieren hat nichts geändert.

Vielleicht hat jemand einen Rat.
