not getting verification code on sms

I have started the Garmin messenger app and need to get the SMS verification CODE

I supply the telephone number - with and without (0) after the international prefix and still get no SMS with activation code

I am receiving all my daily SMS normally and OTPs on my cell

I have followed the article and the issues remain.

The article also mentions that if you still have issues you should contact Garmin Support with the info listed in the article. Have you done that already?

Here is an interesting fact

i have both a physical sim and a virtual sim in my phone on the same provider network

the sms from Garmin only come through when I use the physical Sim number

That’s super frustrating when the SMS code just won’t come through. I’ve had this happen before, and what helped me was double-checking if the phone number was entered correctly, including the country code. Sometimes it can be as simple as a small mistake there. If that’s all good and you’re still not getting it, you might want to try restarting your phone or toggling airplane mode on and off – seems to help with some SMS issues. Another thing you could do is use a temporary mobile number from sites like temp mobile number, just to get the verification. I’ve used it for stuff like this, and it works fine for short-term use.
