Black shot maps since Garmin Golf app v3.6.1

Since the Garmin Golf app update to 3.6.1, several shot maps are black, or appear first and then black again. This is one of the most important features in the app for me. Can you fix this asap?

  • Same here. Sent diagnostic info to Garmin weeks ago and have heard nothing. Please fix this!!

  • Same issue here, have version 3.7.0.1, using IOS 26.4.2, tried on 2 different iPhones and both are the same. Needs to be fixed urgently, has been like this for months

  • I have the same issue. Sometimes the screen goes black, other times it just glitches out as shown in the video below. I’m surprised that this has been apparently going on for months with no fix.

    practice mode, distance range

app version 3.7.0.1, GCS version 3.9

  • deleted the course and reloaded in course download section in the app, it worked

  • I’ve done that multiple times but each time the shot map is black the next day and I have to do it again. It only happens on one course and all others are fine.

  • Hi everyone, quick Garmin S70/CT10 question.

For the last two rounds, Garmin Golf is recording scores, fairways, putts and club stats normally, and all 14 CT10 sensors are assigned and working. During the round it only asked for club confirmation once or twice, otherwise club detection seemed automatic.

However, after the round there is no “View Shot Maps” option. Older rounds still show shot maps correctly.

Has anyone seen this before, or know what setting might have changed? Thanks. I am using iPhone. Last round it recorded shot maps was on 29th May. After that I played on 4th & 9th June in which I cannot see shot maps

  • Thank you for your patience. Please make sure that your Golf app is on v3.8 to resolve this. If you are still having this experience on 3.8 please create a new thread with as much detail as possible about what is going on.
