Posting scores and stats to GHIN

  1. I have been following a request on the garmin golf watch S62 forum for quite a few months and that request has gotten zero traction so I thought I should post it here instead.  
  2. All Garmin golf users should have the ability to have the golf scores automatically uploaded to GHIN handicap system.  
  3. Having to score your game in the watch and then turn around and do it all again on the GHIN app is ridiculous.  Most of my golfing buddies use Garmin and all would love this additional feature.  
  4. Please add that connection for scores and all the associated stats.  If Garmin is serious about being a golf watch supplier this simple feature is a must have for serious golfers.  Its also a feature that should have been available from the beginning!

    As mentioned on the original post, Garmin is reviewing and tracking users reporting that the want this feature. While the addition of this feature has not been promised...if anything changes with this option becoming available...users will be notified if or as any information becomes available regarding this becoming offered. 

    I would also suggest expressing the interest to the appropriate sources within USGA or GHIN to express wanting continuity with their system and Garmin products as well.

    USGA provides an integration API for commercial use (like Garmin). That's why tools like The Grint can post scores. There's no reason GHIN would build an API to PULL from Garmin - Garmin isn't "the source of truth" for Handicapping, while GHIN is.

    This statement is basically shifting responsibility to anyone BUT Garmin.

    The requests from users are being tracked for future considerations to improvements of golf products. If any announcements regarding continuity between Garmin Golf products and USGA/GHIN become available, they will be communicated at that time.

    I would like to request this feature as well. If there is a way to subscribe please let me know. I am requesting this feature for the Android app, don't want to repost if it is considered the same request

    I would like to request this feature also.  I love my Garmin S62. That being said, I have been wearing my new Apple Watch Ultra 2 using GHIN's GPS service just to avoid having to go back and re-enter my scores a second time.Along with what I have read about the Grint app updating GHIN, Golfshot also has this feature.  It may be in Garmin's best interest to incorporate this feature so as not to lose sales to app.  My next test ti to check accuracy between the apps and the S62.
