Garmin Vivoactive HR - Downloaded Golf Course Issue

I can successfully download course through my mobile phone and sync them to my Garmin Vivoactive HR.

When I proceed to the "GOLF" widget, the downloaded course DOES appear after GPS finds it.  When I select the course, instead of loading the hole by hole stats, I receive the following error message "golf course failed to load".  This comes immediately after the message "downloading course".  I only have ONE course downloaded to my device.

    I've got the app/golf courses loaded and working again. New problem is that none of my distances are accurate. My brother has a different Garmin watch and before we were within a few yards, now I'm at least 15 yards off consistently. Any suggestions? 

  • Hey man,  double check that you have it set to yards and not meters ... Could be something as simple as that. If you deleted the app it's possible it reinstalled with default settings. Hope that helps 

  • I think you're right. Now when I originally had this it all worked fine. Now I cannot figure out how to change to yards on the watch. I have done so in the Garmin golf app, I hope that translates next time I'm on the course. But I'm reading in other threads it's a problem sadly. Hopefully there's a fix guide or solution for the vivoactive hr.

  • Go to settings and Units. Once in units, change from kilometers to miles. That will change it from metric to imperial for your distances. There isn't anything wrong with the distances anymore. I have been playing with the fixed app for three weeks on multiple courses and it is accurate.

  • I have Connect 4.54.1 and I'm having the same reported issue.  I deleted all the downloaded courses and added only one course.  This course does not show up on my Vivoactive 3 device.  I powered down, resync'ed, but no course will show up
