Garmin Vivoactive HR - Downloaded Golf Course Issue

I can successfully download course through my mobile phone and sync them to my Garmin Vivoactive HR.

When I proceed to the "GOLF" widget, the downloaded course DOES appear after GPS finds it. When I select the course, instead of loading the hole by hole stats, I receive the following error message "golf course failed to load". This comes immediately after the message "downloading course". I only have ONE course downloaded to my device.

I have had a couple of reports indicating they were told that this issue is not going to be fixed on the vivoactive HR. I can confirm via the engineering reports that we have that there is a fix pending for this issue. I will continue to reach out and ensure that this continues to be the case, but there is nothing indicating the latter. If anything changes, I will update this thread.

Hi Rob,

Would the same fix be applicable to the original Vivoactive?

Also, you may want to get that message passed on to the customer support team. It's a bit frustrating to get pretty blunt messaging that there is no fix and you'll need to buy a new watch, with no explanation of what happened or why. But then also hear separately its still under investigation.

This has been happening to me for 2 seasons now. It's great when it works but, it's been very unreliable. For the past month its failed to load any course and when it does it thinks I'm at some course in Africa. I live IN UT. Maybe it's time to find another company that provides a platform that is dependable?

I have vivoactive 1 and been xperiencing this issue for about 3 weeks. I play at 3 x courses:

Machrihanish Dunes

Machrihanish

Carradale

At Carradale everything works fine. At the 2 x Machrihanish courses, the watch finds the course, starts downloading it then jumps out back to options screen.

Good news for me, seems to have been fixed on my HR for the course I played. It will be interesting to see if it's certain courses that don't work somehow?
