S62 freezes during round of golf. No choice but to turn off and restart.

We will want to ensure the watch has the latest software. You can follow the steps in the support article linked below.

Update Golf Courses and Device Software on an Approach

If the issue persists, you can try to reset the watch: Press: Menu>Select Settings> System> Reset> Reset Default Settings.

You will need to re-pair the watch to the Garmin Connect and Golf app.

I can only turn the watch on and off. No screens respond, including “turn power off?” Watch face is ticking right along with some random time. I did not want a $500 watch!
