Hi Garmin,
Following up on my previous thread:
It started happening again: my Vivoactive 3 saves the round to the device, and Garmin Connect detects that I have an "activity" that captures the physical distance that I walked, but Garmin Connect does not detect that I have a round of golf scores to save to the Garmin Golf app.
I played two rounds of golf today. In the first round, I selected the "Golf" activity and it went through "locating satellites" and "data transfer complete"; however, I was distracted and did not select the course I was playing at (which I had pre-downloaded through Garmin Connect), so the Vivoactive 3 went back to the watch face as if it cancelled the activity. So I repeated the action of selecting the "Golf" activity and this time after it "located satellites" and "completed data transfer", I selected the course, and confirmed I was keeping score, and played the round. When I saved the score, Garmin Connect found the score but the activity was 0.00 miles and there was no distance tracked.
Later, I played a round of golf again, selected the "Golf" activity, selected the course and confirmed I wanted to keep score. After I saved my score after the round, I went to Garmin Connect and it synced my distance and time of activity, but this time it did not sync my score to Garmin Connect. I was only able to see my score in Garmin Golf after I used Garmin Express.
Perhaps the first time, when I forgot to confirm the course and confirm I was keeping score, there is some sort of issue because of that?
Thank you,
Andrew
